Brownwood News – In a news conference Friday at the State Capitol, Texas Governor Greg Abbott outlined a plan to open the Texas economy over the coming weeks.  As a part of his announcement, Abbott said Texas public schools will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.  More details coming on this page later this afternoon.
