Texas Juvenile Justice Department to Hold Job Fair

The Texas Juvenile Justice Department will hold a job fair in early March for Juvenile Correctional Officer positions.

Interviews will be conducted at the Ron Jackson Training Center (across the street from the main facility) on March 6, 2013 from 9am-4:00pm. Entry-level salary is between $2322.40 – $2750.04/month with full State of Texas benefits package.  Career ladder opportunities are available.

Applicants must be 21 years of age and a High school diploma or GED is required.  Experience working with juvenile delinquents is helpful.  Applicants must be able to work shift work.

Criminal/Driving Record checks, pre-employment drug test and physical will be conducted on every individual prior to hiring.
