The Annual Texas Bluegrass Festival will kick off on Thursday in Brownwood with a music filled weekend planned. The festival will be underway June 3rd-5th and offers some outstanding talent. This year’s bands offer a wide variety of music so there is always something for everyone’s taste. The lineup of bands includes Digger Davis & Tombstone, the Batten Family, Star Canyon, the Hunt Family, and Bowles Creek Bluegrass.
The event kicks off Thursday night at the Depot Plaza next to Brownwood Chamber of Commerce and Friday/Saturday in the air conditioned Brownwood Coliseum.
Times are Thursday night: 6:30pm-10:00pm, Friday 5:30 pm, and Saturday 10:30 AM.
The cost is $5 Thursday night, $10 Friday, $15 Saturday. A 3-day pass will be sold for $25 on Thursday night only. Also on Thursday night, the Brownwood Visitors Center & Store will be open in the restored Depot and Harvey House.
