Teresa Collum Brown, age 70, of Grapevine and former Coleman resident, died Monday, July 15, 2019, at Baylor-Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine.

Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion.  Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman.

Teresa Collum was born March 17, 1949 in Abilene, Texas, a daughter of Bejamin Collum and Valeria Nadine Hockersmith Collum.  She grew up in Abilene where she attended school and graduated from Abilene High School.  On February 12, 1980 she married Walter David Brown in Coleman and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1994.  Teresa moved to Grapevine 18 years ago and was employed in customer service at a call center.  While living in Coleman, she was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and in Grapevine she attended St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.  She was an avid seamstress and quilter and enjoyed making all kinds of arts and crafts.

She is survived by her four children, Eric Burns, Todd Brown, Kevin Brown and Caryle-Anne Towner; one brother, Mike Collum; three grandchildren, Christyn Towner, Mariah Brown and Evan Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
