Brownwood News – Mills County – Beginning Wednesday morning, May 27th, The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will temporarily close a portion of State Loop 15 in Goldthwaite for BNSF Railway to complete crossing repair, weather permitting. Crews will close the roadway at 7 AM and anticipate reopening SL 15 to traffic at approximately 5 PM on Wednesday.
As an alternate route for SL 15 from US 183, traffic will continue northbound on US 183 through town to US 84. Both eastbound and westbound motorists on US 84 that plan on using loop 15 will be detoured to US 183 S.
