Brownwood News – Brownwood’s first microbrewery is set to open today. “I guess come hell or high water, or good weather or bad weather, we’re going to kick the doors open at 4 tonight,” said Jeff Tucker of Teddy’s Brewhaus, located at 102 Fisk downtown in the old historic Weakley-Watson building.
“Unofficially, it’s a soft opening. We’re gonna cook some brats and serve some beer, that’s what we’re doing tonight,” Tucker said. “We’re just kind of switching it (menu) up every night to keep them guessing,” Tucker said.
Normal hours will be Wednesday through Saturday, 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm, except Saturday when Teddy’s will open at 12:00 noon. Teddy’s will be open following the Brownwood Lions home football game this Friday night.
Tucker said he really appreciates the community’s support.
