A graveside funeral service for Sylvia Witters, age 89, of Lake Brownwood, will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 7, 2015 in the Rocky Creek Cemetery under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 at the funeral home.
Ms. Witters died Thursday, December 3, 2015.
Sylvia Arlene Witters was born on July 23, 1926 in Marshfield, Oregon to Jacob and Dorothy (Conger) Witters. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1945. Sylvia worked as a secretary for Britt Trucking Co. in Odessa for 18 years. She retired to Lake Brownwood in 1989. Sylvia was an active member of the Lake Brownwood United Methodist Church.Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a number of good friends.
