Celebration of Life for Sylvia Jean Webb, age 83, of Brownwood will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Ricky Cavitt officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Sylvia went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Sylvia was born to Henry and Viola (Wilson) Robbins on July 28, 1934, in Brownwood, Texas. She graduated from Brownwood High in 1952. After high school, Sylvia attended Daniel Baker College for her Nursing Degree; she was in the first graduating nursing class of Daniel Baker College. Sylvia was a nurse for 38 years, specializing in geriatrics. She was a long time member of Coggin Ave. Baptist Church.

Sylvia was an avid artist. She loved fishing, making necklaces and knick-knacks, working in the yard and tending to her flowers. She also loved going to yard and garage sales. She loved spending time with her family.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Chris Clay and wife Patti of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Roberta Spencer and husband Glenn of Brownwood, William Jonescue and wife LaTasha of Brownwood; grandchildren, Travis Clay and wife Sami of Jersey Village, TX, Timothy Clay of Brownwood, David Jonescue of Brownwood, and Lillian Jonescue of Brownwood; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Clara Robbins of Brownwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Viola Robbins; siblings, Joe Robbins and Margie Porter; and nephew, Ricky Joe Robbins.
