Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy John Fincher arrested three individuals for drug possession after their vehicle was seen parked in an unusual area.
Fincher said that he saw a suspicious vehicle parked between some railroad tracks on FM 2525. After approaching the vehicle and speaking to the three occupants, Fincher asked for consent to search the vehicle. The occupants denied consent for the deputy to search the vehicle so the Sheriff’s office K-9 unit was called. The K-9 was deployed around the vehicle and made a positive alert for drugs.
Fincher said that a bag of marijuana was found along with some other drug paraphernalia.
18-year-old Billy Shy Drew of Early and 17-year-old Taylor Scott Snow of Brownwood were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
A female identified as 18-year-old Kailey Michelle Jones of Brownwood was arrested for possession of marijuana and tamper/fabricate physical evidence. Fincher said that Jones’ second charge comes from her attempting to hide some evidence in a Sonic Slush cup.
