On September 5th at 3:05 p.m. two Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted investigators with serving a felony arrest warrant on wanted fugitive, identified as Joseph Alan Havens, according to a report filed with the sheriff’s department.

The report details Havens attempted to flee the residence through the back door of the residence, but was taken into custody. Havens kicked out the back passenger window of a patrol unit while in custody.

Joseph Alan Havens was arrested for his outstanding warrants and for two counts of Resisting Arrest/Transportation, one count of Evading Arrest, and Criminal Mischief greater than or equal to $100 but less than $750.

September 5th: a deputy was dispatched to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for a report of an assault. The deputy made contact with the victim, who stated her boyfriend, identified in the report as Tyler Austin Wylie, had assaulted her. With the evidence of the victim’s injuries as well as evidence at the scene, Tyler Austin Wylie was arrested for Assault Family Violence causing Bodily Injury.

September 5th: a deputy responded to a Brown County address for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. The suspect, identified in the report as Richard Wolfe, allegedly became physically non-compliant when the deputy attempted to detain him for safety and investigation. The victim told the deputy she had been assaulted by Wolfe both earlier in the day and days prior. Richard Wolfe was arrested for Assault Family Violence and Interference.
