Susan “GiGi” Torrez, age 54, of Brownwood, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. She was born on January 25, 1966 in Albany, Oregon to Anton and Pearline (Blevins) Benes. She was a graduate of Bangs High School. Susan married Joe Torrez, Sr. on Apil 14, 1998.
Susan loved to be around her family and great friends. She lived for her grandchildren. She welcomed anybody into her home, there were no strangers. Susan also loved her animals.
Susan is survived by her husband Joe Torrez, Sr.; daughter, Jennifer Reed and son-in-law, Connor Murphy, all of Brownwood; son, Billy Joe Reed of Bangs and a grandson, Zane Michael Blevins of Brownwood; many nieces, nephews, ten other children, and dozens of grandchildren.
Heartland Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
