James Allen Sullivan was sentenced to four 18-year prison terms in 35th District Court on Friday.

Sullivan was convicted of three counts of sexual assault of a child and one count of sexual assault on Thursday and was sentenced Friday morning.  He received one 18 year prison term for each count with 3 of them being stacked and one that will be served consecutively.

It will be at least nine years before he will be eligible for parole.

Sullivan was indicted in 2007 for multiple counts of sexual assault when he worked as a correctional officer at the Ron Jackson State Juvenile Correctional Complex after three female students accused him of the crimes.
