43-year-old James Allen Sullivan was found guilty on three counts of sexual assault of a child and one count of sexual assault in 35th District Court Thursday.

The former Texas Youth Commission guard was accused of having sexual contact with female students at the Ron Jackson State Juvenile Correctional Facility in 2003 & 2004.

In 2007, a grand jury gave Sullivan two indictments with a total of 17 counts of sexual assault with allegations coming from three different girls from the state school.

Sullivan’s trial began on Tuesday, and he will face the punishment phase of the trial on Friday morning in the 35th District Court.
