Sue was preceded in death by her son, Mark, who was killed in an offshore oil rig accident in 1983 and her youngest daughter, Susan, in 1990, who died of cancer soon after the birth of her only child, Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her father, H.D. Howard.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Ruth and Joe Bob Browning; brother, Don Howard, of Brownwood; her daughter and son-in-law, Marci and J. Fowlkes, of Driftwood; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her stepsister and husband, Kathy and Bob Rogers, and their family.
