Winners2City and Rural rides (CARR), and Good Samaritan Ministries of Brownwood held their first “Stuff The Bus” food drive Wednesday on the Walmart parking lot in Brownwood.

CARR opened the doors of one of their new city and rural transport vehicles to gather food for the needy in Brown County. Donors to the food collection project became eligible to win one of two $500 checks courtesy of KPSM 99.3 Christian radio in Brownwood. Good Samaritan Ministries Executive Director Angela Bostic said the food collected during the “Stuff The Bus” food drive be distributed by Good Samaritan Ministries of Brownwood to assist the less fortunate families in the area during the Christmas holiday season.
