Brownwood ISD Board of Trustees recently honored students and a staff member with certificates of excellence for their achievements during a meeting of the BISD board.
Those honored included the following:
BHS Lady Lions Softball Team: The team was recognized for their State qualification. Coggin Elementary Principal, Todd Lewis and Coggin Elementary Teachers, Lisa Christiansen and Holly Fell – Recognized for above and beyond service to Coggin Elementary students, staff, and teachers. Dr. Young referenced a letter of gratitude written by Luiza Grajales, parent of Jannai Grajales, a student at Coggin Elementary.

BHS One-Act Play: The cast and crew were recognized for their state qualifying One-Act Play, “39 Steps” as well as two individuals who won state awards for their performances. Mitchel Doud and Kamrey Windham both earned State Honorable Mention All Star Cast awards.
