Brownwood News – The Pecan Valley Republican Women invites you to join them Thursday May 16, at 6:00 p.m. at the Texas State Technical College, 305 Booker St., Brownwood TX (entrance at the back of the building). Guest Speaker Kristen Tamminga Stroke Clinical Coordinator for Brownwood Regional Hospital will be speaking on the symptoms of stroke.

 

 

What are some of the early signs and what you can do in case you or someone around you is having a stroke.  During the past 25 years Kristin has been an RN and has worked in the ER, ICU and also served as a helicopter nurse.   In 2018 she was promoted as Stroke Clinical Coordinator which allows her to educate the public on what a stroke is and what you can do to prepare.  She will be taking your questions at the end of her presentation.
