**UPDATE** The city reports that the roads are clearing and these streets are open again***
The City of Brownwood has announced several street or intersection closures for Friday, February 4. Due to the ice and hazardous driving conditions, the following Streets & intersections are closed:
- Vine St underpass
- Magnolia St from 14th to Greenway
- 14th from Coggin to Ave L
- 14th from Ave M to Ave O
- 15th from Coggin to Ave E
- 15th from Brady Ave to US 377S
According to city officials, all of these have either a steep incline at the intersection, or an “S” curve which may become slick.
Remember if you have to get out, drive slow and defensively.
