Early Chamber of Commerce recently named Stephen Flora as their Ambassador of the Month of December.
Flora took the opportunity to move into administration with Ranger College as the Director of the Ranger College’s Brown County Campus in May of 2015.
Flora was born in Springfield, Illinois but his family soon moved to Texas. After graduating from David Crockett High School in Austin, he pursued collegiate baseball at Galveston College. After two successful years at Galveston College, Flora moved on to Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi where he finished his collegiate playing career. After finishing a season of professional baseball in the Frontier League, Flora pursued his collegiate coaching career at his alma mater, Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi where he also finished his degree, B.B.A in Finance. Flora ultimately coached at 4 schools, Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi, Texas A&M University at Kingsville (Masters in Educational Administration), Wharton County Junior College and most recently Ranger College.“We are thankful to have Stephen as an Ambassador and look forward to working with him at our future events,” said Early Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shawn Russell.
