Brownwood News – The Brown County Sheriff’s Office has released information regarding a stabbing that took place in May yesterday afternoon. The release reads as follows:

On March 19, 2018, at approximately 3:33 p.m., the Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2700 Block of CR 411 East in May in regards to a male subject who had been stabbed multiple times.

 

 

Once on scene, the victim, identified as Orlando Cundy (W/M, 55 years of age), had several stab wounds to his upper body and head. Orlando stated that his son, Jeremy Cundy (W/M, 26 years of age) was the suspect. It was learned that an offer of food to Jeremy is what had lead up to the incident. Orland was taken to an Abilene hospital via Air Evac with non life threatening injuries.

Jeremy was taken in to custody without incident at the May First Baptist Church for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Family Violence.
