TysonDeverOn January 8, Tyson Dever, of Abilene, came to Brownwood Intermediate School to speak to students and teachers about choices.

Tyson was in a car accident in 2005 that left him paralyzed from the waist down. He encouraged students to choose their attitude everyday, and not blame others for what happens in life.

Using fun activities, Tyson taught the children how to take responsibility and set goals.  “When life puts an obstacle in front of you, make the adjustments that are needed, and do your best,” said Tyson.
