DSC_0153The Brownwood Lady Lions softball team played in the Rivals Bell Classic Tournament in Cameron this weekend ending with a winning record and taking the second-place bracket after winning four of six games.

The Lady Lions started out strong with two wins on Thursday downing Lexington 7-4 and then Corpus Christi Miller 10-0.  They dropped their third game of the tournament to Cameron’s Yoe High School 1-0 on Friday. They also lost the late Friday game against China Springs 2-1.

Things picked up Saturday for the Lady Lions as they shut out Salado 10-0 and then defeated Lexington a second time to secure the second-place bracket.
