CityofEarly_cityhallIn honor of Fire Safety Month, which is observed annually in October, the City of Early Fire Marshal Seth Ringler along with the support of the Early Volunteer Fire Department will be installing smoke detectors in houses in Early which do not currently have working smoke detectors.

Anyone interested in receiving one of the smoke detectors available will need to call City Hall at 325-643-5451 to be placed on the list.  The 75 smoke detectors have been donated by Elliott Electric Supply and Ringler Construction.

Once the 75 donated detectors are installed, the fire department will continue to install smoke detectors which are purchased by the home owner.
