Brownwood News – Six officers of the Brownwood Police Department were honored for various accomplishments on Tuesday, December 17, in the training room of the Law Enforcement Center.
Above: Officers Peyton Donahoo, Jonathon Vallejo and Steven Dekeratry were commended for completing the Field Training Officer Program.
Above: Detective Kimberly Holland was promoted to Corporal of the Criminal Investigation Division.
Above: Corporal Sky Self and Officer Matthew Thompson both received the Lifesaving Award for their efforts in applying tourniquets to victims of knife wounds in two separate incidents.
Police Chief Ed Kading presented the awards. Numerous officers, family, friends, city employees and elected officials attended the ceremony.
