Six members of Brownwood High School’s A Cappella Choir received a perfect score from judges at the UIL State Solo Contest in Austin on Monday, May 25, 2015. Members that received the outstanding scores were Sadie Perez, Katie Griffin, Wyatt Burleson, McKenna McDonald, Kalin Young, and Albert Nguyen.
New A Cappella Choir Members for the 2015-16 school-year were also recently announced. BHS Choir members auditioned in May for a spot in next year’s A Cappella Choir, and many of those that have been selected have already begun working on audition music in hopes of being a part of the district, region, or even the state choir in 2015-16.
