Early Chamber of Commerce announced Kendyl Simons as October Ambassador of the Month.
Simons was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Farmington, New Mexico, as a baby. She moved to Brownwood in August 2010 to attend Howard Payne. Simons grew to love the area so much; she decided to call Brownwood her home.
Simons graduated in May of 2014 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing and the Guy D. Newman Honors Academy. In July of 2014, Kendyl became engaged to Matthew Simons, of Bangs. She then moved to Phoenix, Arizona to obtain her Master’s of Science in Global Marketing from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, an international business school. She graduated in May and moved to Bangs.
Kendyl and Matthew got married in June and she began working for the Center for Life Resources as the public relations coordinator. She helps manage the Center’s marketing and social media efforts as well as their community outreach and fundraising endeavors. Helping with events and producing the monthly newsletter and other publications for the center are some of her other responsibilities.Simons states that she enjoys working at the Center for Life Resources, working with people there who are passionate about what they do, and appreciates working for an organization that helps people every day.
Simons is a new Ambassador of the Early Chamber of Commerce which welcomes her to the Early community.
