The Salvation Army Service Center in Brownwood will soon offer school supplies to students in need and parents can begin registering for the program next week.
Sign-up will take place July 15-17, 2-6 PM and July 18-19, 2-4 PM at the Salvation Army Service Center located at 403 Lakeway Drive in Brownwood. Those signing up must bring an adult photo ID, child’s birth certificate, shot record, Medicaid card/food stamp letter or report card.
School supply pick-up date will be August 19-23 from 2–6 PM.
Donations of school supplies are welcome. To make a school supply donation, drop off supplies to the Salvation Army Service Center. Monetary donations are also welcome and may be sent to PO Box 911, Brownwood, TX 76804, or dropped off at the service center. Please note on check “school supplies.”
Last year, the program helped almost 1000 students in Brown County and Cross Plains with school supplies.
