Brownwood News – The old Long John Silver’s restaurant in Brownwood will soon be home to a Shipley Do-Nuts location in the Spring or Summer of 2018. A recent sale of the property handled by Gary Twiford of Coldwell Banker – Mark Campbell and Associates was confirmed by the real estate agency.
Danny Chang, of Killeen, purchased the former Long John Silver’s restaurant located at 305 West Commerce Street. Chang owns seven Shipley Do-Nuts locations in Texas. This is the second Long John Silver’s restaurant Chang has purchased to renovate into a Shipley Do-Nut’s location.
Chang has been associated with Shipley Do-nuts since 1997, opening his first franchise in 2007.
Shipley Do-Nuts is an American doughnut chain with more than 300 franchised stores in the Southern United States, including Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, and Alabama. Its headquarters are located in Northside, Houston, Texas.
