Sherri Lynne Salter, age 50, of Brownwood, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at home peacefully in her sleep.
Sherri was born on November 26, 1964 in Brownwood to Carolyn Ann Hodges and Ernie Davis.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Hodges and her step-father, Jack Bennie.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her three beautiful children, Brandi Curl and her wife Victoria Cyr of Houston, Jake Salter and his fiancé Mercedes Pastran, and Jessica Salter of Brewton, Alabama; her very special longtime friend of 14 years, Ellis Goins and his family; her stepmother, Jan Bennie of Brownwood, her father Ernie Davis and wife Diane of Fort Worth, a sister, Christine Peace of Brownwood, her brother, Jeff Bennie of Virginia, uncle David Hodges of Brownwood, sister, Tina Davis of Fort Worth, niece, Sarah Peace of Santa Fe, Texas, a nephew, Brandon Peace, and pops Jim Livingston of Marble Falls. There are other friends and family that also will sadly miss Sherri.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the home of Jack and Jan Bennie, 501 Country Oaks Lane, Brownwood to celebrate Sherri’s life.
