Deputies, detectives, and other officials from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office gathered at the National Guard Armory firing range to hone their shooting skills Thursday. It was an all day affair that gave the officers some enjoyment while enhancing their skills.
Handguns and rifles were fired in not only the typical style target range but a moving range with pop up targets that were the shape of soldiers. The targets were within a range of 25m for close up and 300m for distance practice.
The National Guard operated the range targets and helped with safety ensuring that everyone followed protocol.
“It’s great that we have this kind of state of the art facility we can utilize for our guys”, stated one BSCO official.
