Law Enforcement Release –  The Brown County Sheriff’s Office, along with Brownwood Police Department and Early Police Department, executed a search warrant at 8 a.m. in the 3500 Block of Austin Avenue, leading to the arrest of Adam Funderburg and Bulafae Jennifer Hollis.

 

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office and the Brownwood Police Department’s Narcotics Division had been partnered in an ongoing investigation into Adam Funderburg, who has been arrested two prior times within the last twelve months for Manufacture /Delivery of controlled substance PG 1 >=4g <200g.

According to Investigator Gover, there has been approximately five ounces of methamphetamine seized from Funderburg to date.

The second subject charged is Bulafae Jenifer Hollis (aka: Jennifer Mosely).

During the process of serving the search warrant, there was approximately 38 grams of methamphetamine seized by law enforcement agents. The two above named suspects were arrested for Manufacture/ Delivery of a Controlled substance penalty group I >= 4g <200g.

According to Detective Taylor and Investigator Gover, they are joining in a combined capacity to target any and all narcotic dealers who attempt to distribute narcotics in Brown County. They would like to ask that all suspicious activity be reported to Law Enforcement to assist in locating criminal activity in our communities.

Adam Wayne Funderburg was arrested October 25, 2016 and charged with manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance after Brown County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop and recovered a “small zipper bank bag concealed inside of the dash,” which contained 28.1 grams of methamphetamine. Funderburg was also arrested for possession of child pornography in 2004.
