Brown County Sheriff Bobby Grubbs held a press conference Friday afternoon to make a statement regarding the inmate who was arrested this week for plotting to kill 35th District Court Judge Steve Ellis.
Grubbs made a brief statement regarding the event and answered a few questions.
The Sheriff’s office released information on Friday regarding the alleged plot by an inmate, Jeff Harrison, who is accused of offering to pay $10,000 to a “hit man” to kill Ellis. Harrison was an inmate in the Brown County jail at the time on marijuana charges and was accused of using the jail phone system to make the deal. Click Here for the details on the case.
