BROWN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
On March 5, 2020 Deputy Toby Mathis responded to the intersection of CR 175/CR 178 in Bangs, Texas for a report of a vehicle mudding in the ditch. Information was gathered and a report was made.
On March 5, at approximately 18:20 hours, Deputy M. Davis was dispatched to North US 279 in Brownwood regarding a reported disturbance in progress.
On March 5, 2020, at approximately 19:56, Deputy Jose Rodriguez received information on a wanted person with a parole warrant. The wanted person was identified and arrested for said warrant. In addition, he possessed a total amount of (5.5 grams) of methamphetamine without packaging on his person. Also located was a scale. He was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
BROWNWOOD POLICE BLOTTER
On Sunday, 3/1 /2020,at approximately 13:41 hours, Brownwood officers were dispatched to a north side residence in the 1500 block of Terrace Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance. Suspect and victim were interviewed and a report was taken.
On March 04, 2020, PD officer was contacted via telephone by a mother of a BISD student that had been punched on the face by another student while riding the school bus on March 03, 2020.
On Wednesday March 4, 2020, Officer was dispatched to the 2500 block of Vine in reference to a terroristic threat. Information was gathered from the scene and a report was generated.
On 03/05/2020 Brownwood officers were dispatched to 3rd St in reference to terroristic threat. A report has been generated.
On Thursday, March 5, 2020, at approximately 18:43 hours, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the 400 block of W Commerce in reference to a theft. A juvenile arrest was made.
On Thursday, March 5, 2020 at approximately 19:39 hours, Officer Weaver was dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Dr in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. Officer Weaver arrived on scene and spoke with the involved parties. An investigation was conducted and an arrest was made. A report has been generated.
On Thursday, March 5, 2020, at approximately 2050 hours, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce in reference to a theft. A report was completed.
On Friday, March 6, 2020, at approximately 0130 hours, Officer Donahoo was approached by a vehicle in the 300 block of N Main St. The driver stated that their cell phone had recently been stolen. A report was taken.
