Those who are involved in raising sheep and/or goats may want to mark their calendar for Monday, February 22, 2016. That is the date of a sheep/goat program which will be held at the Brown County Extension Office located at 605 Fisk Avenue in Brownwood, Texas. The program will begin at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Reid Redden, Extension Sheep/Goat Specialist from San Angelo will present the program.
There will be a $10 registration fee payable at the door. Last year was rough on commercial sheep/goat producers. Numerous animal health issues resulted in heavy death losses. The purpose of this program is to try to prevent some of these animal health issues this year. For more information, contact the Brown County Extension Office at 325-646-0386.
