Memorial services for Sharon Soules Funderburg, 56, of Bangs, will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, June 23, 2012 in the First Baptist Church at Lake Brownwood.
Ms. Funderburg passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 in San Angelo, Texas.
Sharon Lee Soules was born on November 12, 1955 in Midland Texas to Hugh M. Soules and Birdie Lee Peterson Soules. Sharon had lived in Brownwood for most of her life and was an avid collector of clocks. Her favorite pastime was gardening and doting on her parents. Those who knew her will always remember the way she loved joking around and making her famous hand gestures! Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be dearly missed by those she left behind.
She is survived by her daughter, Misti Marney and husband Kevin, of Bangs; her son, M.C. Funderburg of Bangs; grandchild, Zach Marney of Bangs; her mother, Birdie Soules of Bangs; brothers, Jim Soules and wife Susan, of Grandview and H.M. Soules and wife Jada, of Bastrop; sisters, Linda Gresham of Abilene and Patricia Mullins and husband Scott, of Brownwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Funderburg; an infant daughter, Michelle Cherie` Funderburg; her father, Hugh Soules, and her mother-in-law, Grace Funderburg.
