Sharon D. Palmer, born December 30, 1946 in Coral Gables, Florida, passed away August 12, 2010 in Katy. She resided in Antigo, Wisconsin before marrying Donald R. Palmer in May 1966. She also resided in Early, Texas from January 1981 and later relocated to Katy in mid 1996.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don in January 1996; mother, Helen Pacer Jones of Antigo, WI; father, Sherwood D. Wilson and of Miami, FL; and stepfather, Edgar Jones of Antigo, WI. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Helen Palmer of Katy; son, Mark Palmer and his wife Julie and their children, Travis Palmer and Allison Palmer of Richmond, Texas; and by her brother, James Wilson and his wife Nancy of Atlanta, GA and their children, Craig and Carey.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early. A graveside service will be held immediately following at 4pm at the Jenkins Springs Cemetery in Early, Texas.
