Funeral Services for Shannon Marie Bardwell, age 44, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Justice officiating, interment will follow in McDaniel Cemetery under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Bardwell passed away Monday November 2, 2009 in Brownwood.
Shannon was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 26, 1965 to Thomas and Dana (Briggs) Miller. She married Tommy Bardwell on February 14, 1986 in Brownwood, Texas. Shannon worked as a certified medical aide at Southpark Development Center for 21 years and was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. She was a wonderful giving person with a big loving heart. She loved her family dearly and her husband Tommy was her life.
Shannon is survived by her husband, Tommy Joe Bardwell of Brownwood; parents, Tom and Dana Miller of Brownwood; sisters, Sheryl Miller and partner Jessica Vancooney of Brownwood, Jennifer Frier and husband Kevin of Ogelby, nephew and nieces Thomas and Samantha. Aunts and uncles, Debra and Dave Sanderson of Bossier City, L.A., Faye and Frankie Darnell of Clyde Texas, Robert and Janis Miller of Clyde, and Ila and George Haskell of Clyde.
