The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northern Brown County until 1:15 PM.
At 12:21 PM a severe thunderstorm was 6 miles south of Lake Brownwood near Byrd’s Store or 6 miles northwest of Early moving northeast at 55 mph.
Storm hazards include damaging winds in excess of 60 mph with possible storm impacts such as some tree limb damage, weakened trees toppled, unsecured light objects blown around, scattered power outages possible, and potentially deadly lightning.The severe thunderstorm will be near May by 12:35 PM.
A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 5:00 PM Tuesday afternoon for west central Texas.
