Brownwood News – Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens are investigating a boating accident that happened Wednesday night at Lake Brownwood. It was approximately midnight when first responders got the call.
Seven people were injured when their boat crashed into a long jetty embankment near Wild Duck Marina. Lubbock television station KCBD reports the seven are from Sudan, Texas.
There were numerous Lifeguard ambulances on the scene transporting some of the injured to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
Three Air Evac medical helicopters took patients to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene and John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Department and Lake Patrol were on scene along with Lake Dam Fire Department.
