District Attorney, Micheal Murray says that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court with Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.
Christopher Chad Johnson pled guilty to the felony offenses of Aggravated Assault against Public Servant with Deadly Weapon, Evading Arrest with Deadly Weapon and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Johnson was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division on the Aggravated Assault against Public Servant with Deadly Weapon, 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division on the Evading Arrest with Deadly Weapon, and 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division on the Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Ashton Blake Locke pled guilty to the felony offenses of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, Burglary of a Building and Credit Card Abuse and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division in each case.
Joe Glen Duncan pled guilty to the felony offense of Forgery and was sentenced to 18 month, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
Kevin Daniel Salazar pled guilty to the felony offense of Evading Arrest and was sentenced to 1 year, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
