Howard_Payne_logosmallThe end of the fall semester is typically a time of great joy in a college student’s life – classes are ending, Christmas is rapidly approaching and some will even take the stage at December commencement to receive their hard-earned diplomas.

But before any of that can happen, there’s finals week. Howard Payne University’s Student Foundation is looking to ease some of the stress of the week by preparing and delivering care packages to students living away from home.

Family members and loved ones are encouraged to send their student love during finals week by writing a personal note and ordering a care package full of treats to be delivered to their door the Saturday morning before finals week.

Those who do not have a student at HPU are also welcome to purchase a care package to help encourage a student who otherwise would not be getting one.

Care packages are $20 each, and include treats and a hand-written note from the family member or friend. Orders will be taken through November 26 and care packages will be delivered Saturday, December 3. All proceeds go toward the Student Foundation scholarship fund for HPU students.
