In the early morning hours of November 17, 2018, at the age of 74, surrounded by loved ones, Sandy went to be with both family and friends after a brief battle with cancer.
Sandy was born on May 13, 1944 to Arcadio and Elisa Gonzales in Fort Stockton, Texas. Sandy owned and operated Sandy’s Café in Bangs, Texas for many years. She will be remembered for her love of people and her sharp wit.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Francisco Gonzales and her late husband, Mickey Reece.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Clawson, her brother Benjamin Gonzales, sister, Bertha Davis and husband, Jimmy; daughters, Debbie Wright and husband Jeff, Desa Barcenas and husband Inocencio, Angela Virden and husband, Mark, Tessa Bandsetter and husband, Tony; sons Len Clawson and wife Sylvia and Michael Reece; and her many grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 10 am at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home chapel.
