Scout was born on July 25, 1999, to Paul and Bridget (Wright) Fragua in Brownwood. The family resided in Arlington and then later moved back to Brownwood. Scout attended elementary school in Brownwood and then moved back to Arlington in 2004. There he attended Lamar High School and was a pitcher for the Vikings varsity baseball team. He also played football for the Lamar Vikings until 2011. Scout then chose to come back to Brownwood to be a Brownwood Lion. Scout pitched on the Lion’s varsity baseball team and played on the varsity football team as #13. Scout graduated in 2017 from Brownwood High School. He was working for Shalom Equipment Co. until his passing.
This charismatic, energetic, loving, kind, funny, warm-hearted, handsome young man still had so much to offer this world. Scout’s life was cut short from mental illness that had secretly plagued him for years. He recently asked for help and had taken the steps he needed to get help. He had an appointment scheduled this week to finally get the help he sought; unfortunately, it was too late.
Scout was a very sweet young man who will whole heartedly be missed. He leaves behind his best friend and sister, Krista Fragua of Bangs; his broken-hearted mother, Bridget Fragua and Jeremy Hall of Brownwood; little brother, Hudson Hall, who lost his hero; and little sister, Presley Hall, who lost her “Bubba”. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Steve and Juanita Wright of Brownwood; paternal grandmother, Judy Fragua of Brownwood; maternal great-grandpa, Inez Maldonado of CO; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Fragua Jr.; paternal grandfather, Paul Fragua Sr.; uncle, Michael Wright; maternal great-grandmothers, Julia Nolasco Maldonado and Darlene Malone; and maternal great-grandfather, Mitch Osbourne.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.”
