Heaven’s Very Special Child, Scott Dwayne “Scotty” Robbins, age 43 of Bangs, Texas passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 in the Bangs Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Italy Cemetery in Italy, Texas with Pastor Brian Hall officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas.
Scotty was born on November 23, 1970 in Waxahachie, Texas to Roy L. Robbins Jr. and Linda Murehead Whitney. He had resided in Bangs for the past two years formerly of Corpus Christi.
Survivors include his mother and step father Linda and Howard Whitney of Brownwood, Texas; a half brother of Waxahachie, Texas; step sister Carrie Butts and Husband Kevin of Hutto, Texas; a aunt Carolyn Brannon of Midlothian, Texas and by numerous cousins of Eden, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father Roy Robbins Jr.; grandparents Floyd and Iola Murhead; two uncles Billy and Ray Murehead and by an aunt Faye Murehead.
