Emergency responders were called to the scene of a vehicle versus pedestrian accident near the intersection of Vine and Bonita Monday afternoon.
At approximately 12:00 noon, a male subject on a Yamaha scooter was struck by a Volkswagen passenger car, occupied by two male subjects.
Brownwood Fire Department arrived on scene and provided first aid to the man on the scooter who was reported to be conscious but had suffered leg injuries. The male was transported by Guardian EMS to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department and Guardian EMS responded to the scene of the accident.
