A quiet Saturday was interrupted for homeowners in the 100 block of Lori Lane when a one-vehicle rollover accident occurred.
According to neighbors, the Oldsmobile minivan was traveling north on Lori Lane nearing Austin Avenue when it struck the curbing and mailbox of one house then travelled across the yard and through the driveway of another home where it struck a parked pickup truck and flipped onto its top.A female driver was trapped inside; however, she was conscious and talking at the time of the accident. Brownwood Fire Department cut the door off of the van and removed the woman from the vehicle. She was transported by Guardian EMS to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for evaluation. Neighbors indicated that she did not appear to have major injuries.
The parked pickup sustained minor damage to its front passenger quarter panel and door. The van is pictured above. The scene of the accident is pictured below.
