Sara (Sorrells) Cunningham, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, in Brownwood, Texas.

She was born on June 4, 1953, in Brady, Texas, to Troy and Inez (Probst) Sorrells.  Sara was a Christ-follower, loving wife, devoted mother, Nana, and friend to all. She was a medical transcriptionist, serving doctors at Brady Hospital for many years. Sara believed in sharing her faith and supported missions around the world. One of her many talents included being a seamstress and creating amazing pieces for her family.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Brady and First Baptist Church of Santa Anna.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Cunningham of Brownwood; daughter, Stephanie Cunningham of West; son, Shannon Cunningham and wife Annie of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; grandchildren:  Cheyenne, Ryan, & Taylor Spivey, and George, Aaron, William, and Henry Cunningham; brothers, Fred Sorrells and wife Sami of Burnet, and Kinley Sorrells and wife Delinda of Comanche; sisters, Anita (Sorrells) Salge and husband Darby of Tynan; and Ella (Sorrells) Snodgrass and husband Donnie of Lorena; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Inez Sorrells.

Lunch for the family will be at East Side Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday.

Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M.

Chapel service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 27, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Marlin Felts officiating and Rev. Steven Schulte assisting.

Graveside service will be at 3:30 P.M. on Thursday in Bethel Cemetery, near Camp Air, Mason County, with Rev. David McLane Officiating.  Condolences may be offered on line at www.comanchefh.com
