They enjoyed archery and excelled in the sport, advancing to the Nationals in West Virginia. She loved to fish, and cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping was her passion. In her later years, most of her evenings were spent playing Canasta with her special friends, “The Golden Girls”, including Louise McNair, Elizabeth Barker, Dorothy Gage and Catheryn Dismuke. They ate their evening meal together, then headed to one or the other’s home for a few games, and of course catching up on the latest current events.
