Funeral services for Sandra Sue Durham, age 57, of Lake Brownwood, will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 23, 2012 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home for visitation on Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
Mrs. Durham died Wednesday July 18, 2012 in Liberty Hill.
Sandra was born on October 31, 1954 in Burkburnett to Larry and Wanda Rainey Lindsey. She attended Dimmitt High School and married L.V. Durham on August 7, 1970 in Hereford. She was a longtime and faithful member of Lakeside Christian Center at Lake Brownwood.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 41 years, L.V. Durham of Lake Brownwood; two daughters, Christy Gray and husband Trent of Cedar Ridge, Colorado and Stephanie Mixon and husband Nelson of Mesquite; six grandchildren, Kamry, Garrett and Emily Gray, Courtney, Paige and M’Kayla Mixon; and a great grandson, C. J. May; mother, Wanda May Bailey of Burnet; a brother Lanny Lindsey of Burnet, and three sisters, Vickie Weaver of Alvin, Kim Brando of Brownwood, and Tammy Napier of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, L.V. “Skeet” Durham, III and her father, Larry Lindsey.
The family requests memorials be made to Lakeside Christian Center.
