Graveside services for Sam Mullins, 71, of Bangs, will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, June 25, at Bangs Cemetery with Minister Michael Light officiating. Interment will follow under the direction Netherton Funeral Home. No visitation has been set.

Sammy Bryan Mullins was born on September 2, 1942, in Victoria, Texas to Worley Bryan Mullins and Willie Eloise (Gandy) Mullins. He graduated from Bloomington High School and had worked as a pipeline welder. Sam had lived in Bangs for over 40 years and was a member of the Bangs Church of Christ.

He is survived by a son, Wesley B. Mullins and wife Shanna Gayle of Mercury; daughter, Julie Ann Mulllins of Thrifty; one grandson and three granddaughters. He is also survived by his brother, Joe G. Mullins and wife Ruby, of Seguin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Worley B. Mullins and Eloise Gandy Mullins.
